About the Trust
For over 40 years, the Trust has provided opportunities to those who might never otherwise experience Britain’s canals through personal involvement, training, team work, and lots of fun too! (More details on the History page)
Run by dedicated volunteers and their fund-raising efforts, the Trust needs all the help it can get.
How can you help? Become a “friend” of the Trust. A subscription of just £12 a year will help towards the running of our three boats.
WHAT IS A FRIEND?
A friend helps and supports. Being a Friend of Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust means you will be helping lots of people to enjoy the pleasures of our canals, the environment, and the companionship of others.
The support you give to Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust means we can keep our charges affordable for most community groups – the elderly or those with mobility problems; for some of our clients a trip on “Enterprise” is as near to a walk in the country as they can get these days.
Many youth groups who use “Felgate” and “Truman” go to great lengths to raise their own funding. By being a Friend of Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust you are supporting them in their efforts.
A subscription of only £1 a month payable annually will go towards running the Trust’s three narrowboats, “H.F.Truman”, “A.J.Felgate” & “Walsall Enterprise”.
You will receive an annual newsletter to let you know how you have helped us to help others.

| If you are a taxpayer Gift Aid can make your subscription worth more. For every £1 you give us we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue. Just select "yes" in the Gift Aid box below to allow us to reclaim tax on the amount you have paid. It’s that simple. (You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year that is at least equal to the amount of tax that the Trust will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.) |
